Concrete Surface Coatings apply coatings to factory floors. There are different needs for industrial floor coatings.

Most floor coatings in factories are epoxy resin. This is due to the epoxy resin being very hard and therefore lasting about 5 to 10 years under industrial conditions.

There are other types of resins used on factory floors. Depending on the use and environment the floor will be exposed to. Coatings can range from epoxy resin, polyurethane resin, polyurea resin or an acrylic sealer. Please feel free to contact us for advice and or a quote.

Non-slip additives

  1. Glass beads or crushed glass creates an aggressively non-slip surface. This is commonly used on ramps and loading docks.
  2. Aluminum oxide can be added which gives a finer slightly dull appearance and provides a general non-slip surface. Vinyl flakes are commonly used for decorative floors however they provide non-slip properties.
  3. Vinyl flakes create a slightly bumpy surface which makes the surface non-slip however is still easy to mop and sweep. This is commonly used in wet areas.
