Bacchus Marsh Restaurant – Commercial Kitchen Floor

Price: $5,000 (ex gst)

Area: 180 m2

This project was in an old RSL building that was being transformed into an American style smoke restaurant. The customer wanted a stone blend vinyl flake floor coating.

This project required us to grind off carpet adhesive from the concrete floor. Repair a trench that had pipes in the floor.

We first ground off the carpet adhesive to create consistent adhesion of the new vinyl flake floor coating.

Filling the trenches with concrete took more time than expected. A previous handy man filled the trenches with cement and water. The cracked and needed to be removed first, prior to re-filling the trench with concrete.

We applied the vinyl flake floor coating to the kitchen and restaurant seating area. The base colour was Koala Grey and the vinyl flakes were a stone bland called Obsidian.

Food processing areas are required to have coving around the perimeter of the kitchen area. The coating with also top coated with a clear polyurethane coating for antibacterial properties.
