Grinding the concrete
To create optimal adhesion of the epoxy resin and to create a smooth and more level floor we grind the concrete.
Filling the concrete joints and cracks with an epoxy filler
To make the floor appear seamless we fill the concrete joins between the slabs and any cracks in the concrete with an epoxy mortar mix.
Applying the primer coat
We applied a thick self-leveling epoxy coating. We applied this coating with a trowel as it is too thick to roll onto the floor.
Applying the resin to the walkway.
The customer wanted an orange walkway to match the colour of their company colours.
Applying the base coat
We applied a light grey epoxy resin coating. Light grey is the most common colour for factory and warehouse floors.
Applying a clear protective coating
We applied a clear polyurethane clear coating over the entire epoxy floor coating. This made the floor more shinny and increased the grip of the floor when dry.
