Creating a kitchen floor for a pâtisserie in Truganina Melbourne. This was a new building with a bare concrete floor. We filled in a plumbing trench with concrete and ground the entire floor area for consistent adhesion of the polyurethane coating.
We applied a 3mm thick polyurethane coating. We added vinyl chips to the floor coating to improve slip resistant to R10 and. Adding vinyl chips as a non slip additive is popular as the floor is still easy to clean and also improve the aesthetics of the floor.
As this was a commercial kitchen. We also created coving around the perimeter of the kitchen area.
